It also taught me that you can't live with all or nothing. You need to find a happy medium with what you eat on a daily basis and what you get to eat on occasion. It's been a wonderful learning experience. 27 years later I am a Lifetime member At Goal (actually 10 pounds under goal) and I know I can do this for the rest of my life. So many people need to look for something that will allow them to get healthy and then stay that way for the rest of their lives. It is a struggle for so many. Have a great day.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03620585137536184635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5626027431649168940.post-86875517430194004832014-10-16T03:37:15.659-07:002014-10-16T03:37:15.659-07:00I think the thing that attracts people to fad diet...I think the thing that attracts people to fad diets is quick results. Sure it's easy to lose weight if you cut out entire food groups, exercise like a crazy person, or restrict your calories to dangerous levels... The thing is, it's not sustainable... So while you lose weight in the short run, you really mess yourself up in the long run. People just want instant gratification rather than thinking about how things will affect them later on. And I've definitely been down that road! Never again...Amanda @ .running with spoons.https://www.blogger.com/profile/18299127204504539512noreply@blogger.com
